Two-States – One Race in Texarkana, Texas and Arkansas each February. The race starts in downtown Texarkana and runs down historic State Line Avenue.
The annual Mardi Gras Celebration is a Louisiana tradition with a Texarkana twist! Downtown Texarkana is transformed with food, vendors, and of course a parade! Catch some beads and enjoy the spirit of the Mardi Gras season!
Held each April at the Four States Fair Grounds, novice and experienced RVers get a chance to meet industry experts, find great bargains on RV products and enjoy camaraderie with fellow RB enthusiasts.
Spring Lake Park is home to various demonstrations, crafts and games of what makes the national Boy Scouts organization come alive. This April festival includes food vendors. A variety of activities and thousands of local scouts on-hand.
The City of Texarkana, Texas Parks & Recreation Department hosts the annual “Gator” Egg Hunt at Spring Lake Park. The event is free and open to children age ten and under accompanied by an adult. Events include a child egg toss, parent and child egg toss, the egg hunt, and Bounce-A-Lot House. The egg hunt includes over 10,000 candy eggs and prizes. The highlight of the day is the arrival of the Easter “Gator” by fire truck.
The Alzheimer’s Alliance Tri-State Area cordially invites you to join us for the 4th Annual Twice as Fine Texarkana Wine Festival, a one-of-its kind wine, art, music and food festival for the Four States Area on May 5, 2018. The Twice as Fine Texarkana Wine Festival will target a highly affluent audience of wine and food enthusiasts. Wineries from across the State of Texas, numerous merchants and local businesses will give visitors an opportunity to taste and purchase wines and gourmet treats at their best, all from one location. Great music, artisan crafts and food tasting are always “Twice as Fine when there’s Wine!!!”

Begins Memorial Day Weekend for 5 days and again in the 2nd weekend in September. Enjoy this unique American music in a relaxed, down-home atmosphere.
Takes place in mid-June at the Four States Fait Entertainment Center. Dogs that qualify for the show are recognized by the American Kennel Club (AKC). The show usually features over 140 breeds.

Each June, past and present NFL Superstars descend on Texarkana for a weekend full of football-related fun. Activities include the NFL Quiz Bowl, the Celebrity Golf Tournament and Celebrity Banquet. Also a football camp and dance camp are held for area youth where they are coached by professional NFL players and cheerleaders.

A fun-filled, nine-day extravaganza each September. The fun begins with a downtown parade and continues for 9 days with live entertainment, the PRCA Rodeo, major concerts, a demolition derby, carnival, midway rides and games, exhibits, livestock shows, and plenty of food and fun for the whole family.
A morning of fun each fall at Holiday Springs Water Park. In addition to the thousands of rubber ducks released into the park’s lake, events also include a 5k road race through the McDougal Trails of the Park, a petting zoo, and other childen’s activities.
Jeans & Bling is fun for all each October with a live band and auction, dancing, and great food and is held at the Texarkana Convention Center (4610 Cowhorn Creek Rd). The event supports the local non-profit Hospice of Texarkana.
Over 7,000 participants, many organizations, and the determination of the Texarkana community, have established this event as the best of its kind, raising millions of dollars in its quest to cure breast cancer. Held each October beginning at the Four States Fair Grounds.

Tie bells to your shoelaces, dust off your reindeer antlers and participate in the Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis, a 5k fun run/walk along with Beans and Cornbread dinner celebration provide food and gift baskets for needy families in the Texarkana area during the holiday season.
Bring the entire family to the annual regional “Electric” Christmas Parade. Held the first Monday night of December, lighted floats, bands, and “special” guests roll across two states. Lighting, caroling, and buggy rides throughout the season in Historic Downtown.
